- It is specifically made for writing books and magazines.
- It helps to divide the book into chapters and put them into different documents.
- It even has a name generator and allows to create seperate documents for character design.
Cons -
- Editing the book interior and designing it isn't a piece of cake
- It is not a WYSIWYG editor, so you won't be able to track the excact look of the book.
Conclusion - It all depends on the person how he/she wants the book to look like. Scrievener may not be easy to use for a rookie but MS Word can. MS Word has been a first choice among many authors but Scrievener is a fast growing software with a huge userbase.
